Propane

Propane is an efficient source of energy, it is clean and safe. Huronia/Med‐E‐Ox Ltd. sells 2 kg (5 lb) to 12 kg (30 lb) propane cylinders and leases 14 kg (33 1/3 lb) and 42 kg (100 lb) propane cylinders. Motorized propane vehicles can get filled up at our Goderich, Ontario location.

We have many 20 lbs and 30 lb propane exchange depots located in Southwestern Ontario. You can purchase your full exchange tank from any of our exchange locations.  When your tank is empty, just return it to any of our exchange locations for another full exchange tank. Benefits of the exchange program: You do not need to worry about your cylinder going out of date, you always have a clean, rust free, well maintained and leak tested cylinder. We exchange 100 lb propane cylinders at many trailer parks located within this same area.

In our effort to give our customers superior service, we have a propane tank exchange system. Just bring your empty 20 lb. or 30 lb. propane cylinder to one of our exchange locations and swap it for a full tank. This makes sure that you have a clean, rust-free, well-maintained, and leak-proof cylinder.

We also exchange 100 lb. propane cylinders at many trailer parks.

We recycle propane cylinders through our exchange locations and at our Goderich and Owen Sound stores. The reimbursement for 20 lb. is $2/tank, 30 lb. and 40 lb. is $5/tank and 100 lb. is $20/tank. In order to get reimbursement, the tanks will need to have limited rust, welds intact and have valves still in the tank. We can’t recycle the tank if the valve has been taken out and there is water in the tank.
